Assess your intangible heritage what would vanish tomorrow
Before constituting, you must see. This self-evaluation grid helps you measure the fragility of your cognitive heritage — without jargon, in thirty minutes.
What this assessment is for
Assessing intangible heritage is not assigning accounting value. It is mapping risk: what is already constituted, what lives in one mind only, what has never been said.
Use the seven components as your grid. For each pillar, mark: constituted, partial, fragile or absent.
The seven-question grid
- Knowledge — If the key expert left tomorrow, how many critical methods would be lost?
- Values — Could your heirs state your red lines without you?
- Memory — Do founding stories exist outside oral conversation?
- Networks — Are trusted alliances transferable, or purely personal?
- Reputation — Is what the house must protect explicit for the next generation?
- Rituals — Are identity-cementing traditions documented, or merely « known »?
- Vision — Is the strategic horizon for the next ten to fifteen years written and shared?
How to read your results
Three or more « fragile » marks on critical pillars (knowledge, values, vision) signal a transmission urgency — not panic, a start.
A single « absent » but central pillar (often vision or tacit knowledge) can justify a targeted workstream before a succession or announced departure.
Next step
Score all seven. Identify the two dimensions where loss would cost the most. Bring that inventory to an audience: it is often the best first material.
Aigyros is neither an online quiz nor a public score. The assessment stays private — the Confidant and Sanctuary take over to constitute what you prioritised.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this grid replace a professional audit?
- No. It is a self-evaluation tool to clarify priorities. An Aigyros audience deepens, structures and engages constitution — with your advisors if needed.
- Should I share my answers with my heirs?
- Not necessarily at first. Many founders start alone, then open access progressively via the Sanctuary's native governance.

If several dimensions are « fragile » or « absent », an Aigyros audience turns that diagnosis into a constitution workstream — at your pace, in absolute discretion.
